Tripslay ("we", "our", or "us") provides the WebReader application. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy.

1. Data Collection & Usage

We collect minimal information automatically to ensure app stability and provide the service:

  • Device Identifiers: We use Google AdMob and Firebase. These services may collect your Advertising ID (ADID) to provide personalized ads and essential analytics.
  • Usage Data: We use Google Analytics for Firebase to monitor session duration and playback events (e.g., web pages read).
  • Diagnostics: Firebase Crashlytics collects non-identifiable technical data (device model, OS version) to help us fix bugs and improve performance.
  • Local Storage: Your library and settings remain 100% on your device. We do not sync your reading history to any of our servers.

2. Third-Party Services

Our app uses the following third-party services that may collect data used to identify you:

  • Google Play Services
  • AdMob
  • Google Analytics for Firebase
  • Firebase Crashlytics

3. Data Retention & Deletion

Analytical and diagnostic data is retained following Google’s standard data retention policies. Users have the right to request deletion of any associated diagnostic data by contacting us via email.

4. App Permissions

  • Internet: To load web pages from your provided URLs.
  • Media Playback: To facilitate Text-to-Speech audio output.
  • Notifications: To show playback controls in the status/notification bar.
